Brat campaign says the Spanberger campaign used mislabeled ad

Show This To Everyone

The Brat campaign sent out the following press release:

In a new ad, Democrat Abigail Spanberger mislabels a photograph of Congressman Dave Brat (R-Va.-07) as appearing with donors, when in reality he is standing on the steps of the U.S. Capitol with two other Members of Congress.

“That Abigail Spanberger would mischaracterize such a photograph of Congressman Brat and other Members of Congress necessarily begs the question: what kind of Member of Congress would she be? If she’s mistaken on something so simple as Members of Congress, not to mention mistaken on the tax cuts, on immigration and on health care, what else will she err on in Washington? We call on Spanberger to stop using this deceptive ad featuring Congressman Brat and his House colleagues,” said Brat campaign spokeswoman Katey Price.

So, maybe the eyes need to be unblocked and we need to look into the donors behind those Members of Congress because it is likely those guys vote to reward big donors, banks, pharma, NRA and other special interests too. Did they too vote to line the pockets of millionaires through the tax cut? Did they too vote to deregulate consumer protections? Did they too support fracking in national parks, tarriffs that hurt American businesses, etc?
