Colonial Heights Police made an arrest for several burglaries

Colonial Heights Police announced that they have made an arrest in a string of gas station burglaries.

On August 2, 2018 the Colonial Heights Police Department, with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, arrested Ramond Thomas Mason, 36 years of age of the 2100 Block of Wakefield Avenue, Colonial Heights. Mason was wanted in connection to the burglary of the Exxon Shop and Go, located at 501 Southpark Boulevard on May 27, 2018 and again on June 7, 2018.

Mason was also wanted in the connection to the burglary of the Slip in Shell, located at 425 Southpark Boulevard on May 30, 2018. Mason has been charged with three counts of burglary, three counts of grand larceny, and three counts of possession of burglary tools. Mason is currently being held at Riverside Regional Jail without bond pending court in Colonial Heights General District Court on October 3, 2018.
