In addition to the special events, don’t miss a visit to M&T Bank Butterflies LIVE!, a stop at the Bob Stapleton and Keith Tignor Apiary, or a leisurely stroll down the Main Garden Walk, featuring pollinator-friendly plants. We hope you leave inspired to do your small part to support a pollinator-friendly ecosystem!

“GOING PLACES” EXHIBITION at the Science Museum

Where did you go today? And how did you get there? Going Places is an interactive exhibition that explores the technology behind travel that makes the farthest reaches of our planet accessible. By climbing aboard a flight simulator to pilot a plane, riding on a hovercraft, trying to pack a cargo ship without capsizing it, sailing a land yacht across heavy winds and more, guests will observe, understand and use an incredible range of travel technology to see how it makes our lives easier and better. The exhibition also explains how the Earth’s awesome size and natural processes, like gravity, wind, currents, waves, friction and changing landscapes are overcome by ingenious designs researched and developed over time. With 20+ interactive stations, Going Places is a wild ride!
