Today, Keystone + Mountain + Lakes Regional Council of Carpenters endorsed Del. Debra Rodman in her campaign for Virginia’s 12th State Senate District.
“In her first term as Delegate, Debra Rodman has more than proven herself as an ally to the Carpenters Union. The members of the Carpenters Union trust Delegate Rodman to uphold working families values in the Virginia State Senate and work to repeal Virginia’s so-called “right to work” law.
The construction industry as a whole needs champions who will protect its workers from unscrupulous employers who commit tax fraud and wage theft, and we believe Delegate Rodman is the best candidate to hold our industry’s bad actors accountable.”
Keystone + Mountain + Lakes Regional Council of Carpenters joins hundreds of local activists, voters, and leaders across Central Virginia in supporting Rodman, including former SD12 candidate Marques Jones and an exciting group of local elected officials: Del. Lamont Bagby, Chair of Virginia’s Legislative Black Caucus, Del. Delores McQuinn, Del. Schuyler VanValkenberg, Del. Jeff Bourne, Del. Lashrecse Aird, Richmond Mayor Levar Stoney, and Varina Supervisor Tyrone Nelson.
