Two firefighters remain in the hospital after the deadly accident on Friday night that killed one firefighter.
A total of four Fire/EMS personnel were injured in the crash with one of them succumbing to their injuries at the scene. One was transported for life-threatening injuries and the remaining two for serious injuries. The driver of the tractor had to be extricated from the cab of the truck and was transported for treatment of serious injuries.
The firefighter killed in the line of duty, at the scene of the crash, was Lieutenant Brad Clark from Station 6, Hanover County Fire-EMS.
Hanover Fire sent out the following update on the firefighters still in the hospital.
Carter – Stable Condition. David – Stable, but Serious Condition. Each one had a surgery yesterday and continue to progress through the recovery process. Thank you for your support and understanding.
