A Hopewell man is facing multiple charges after police recovered drugs, cash and several weapons during a raid early Wednesday.
The raid, which happened at 6 a.m. in the 2300 block of Norfolk Street, was the culmination of a two-month investigation that began with a tip from a concerned citizen, said Hopewell police spokesman Lt. Paul Intravia.
The raid netted large amounts of drugs including marijuana, heroin and cocaine with a street value of about $20,000, Intravia said.
Officers also recovered three guns and more than $5,800 in cash, he said.
Kendale Winfield, 32, of Hopewell has been charged with multiple counts of drug distribution and weapons possession in connection with the raid, Intravia said.
