The NFL is still investigating linebacker Reuben Foster for a possible suspension, but Redskins’ president Bruce Allen said that the team is not expecting a suspension to come Foster’s way. The San Francisco 49ers released Reuben Foster after another domestic violence incident was reported last year. The Redskins claimed Foster off waivers and received a ton of backlash. The charges against Foster were dropped, but he remains on the NFL Commissioner’s Exempt List. The Redskins cut linebacker Zach Brown and re-signed linebacker Mason Foster this off-season.

The Washington Redskins have experienced their fair share of quarterback problems recently. Reports surfaced over the weekend that quarterback Colt McCoy had another surgical procedure done to his leg but is expected to be ready for the Redskins’ off-season workouts. Quarterback Alex Smith has also been battling infections in his leg, due to the amount of surgeries his leg has required. The Redskins are scheduled to meet with Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins soon for a workout ahead of the NFL Draft. The Washington Redskins are in the market for a young quarterback and will use their 1st round pick on a franchise changing player.

Missouri’s quarterback, Drew Lock, is projected to be a 1st round pick and has been labeled as the “golden arm” of this year’s 2019 NFL Draft. The Senior worked out at the scouting combine and measured 6’4” 228 pounds with 9” hands and 32 ½” arms. Lock’s combine workout resulted in a 4.69 40-yard dash, 31” vertical jump and 112” broad jump. In 2018, at Missouri the quarterback threw for 3,498 yards, 28 touchdowns and 8 interceptions as he led the Tigers to an 8-5 record that included a bowl game lost to Oklahoma State. In my 2019 NFL Mock Draft 2.0 I have the Washington Redskins drafting the 22-year-old quarterback Drew Lock with the 15th overall pick. Lock played all four years at Missouri and totaled 12,193 passing yards, 99 touchdowns and 39 interceptions.
