Multiple People Injured In 3 Shootings Last Night Into This Morning

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) – At least four people were injured in three shootings in the city’s east end, near the Richmond-Henrico line, according to police.
Two men were injured in a double shooting at the intersection of N. 31st and T streets, near Oakwood Cemetery, around 2 a.m. Monday.
Both victims were rushed to VCU Medical Center, and officers say one of them has life-threatening injuries.
Officers also responded to two shootings late Sunday night.
One of the shootings happened around 10:20 p.m. in the 2800 block of Fairfield Avenue, which is near Fairfield Elementary. The man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Another shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. in the 1900 block of Mechanicsville Turnpike, near Whitcomb Court. The man was also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
These shootings, as well as the double shooting early Monday, are still under investigation.
