CHESTERFIELD, VA– The Virginia chapter of the National Organization for Women has endorsed Amanda Pohl for State Senate. Throughout her career, Pohl has advocated for the equality of women across the state Virginia.
“The time to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment is now,” said Pohl. “In the General Assembly, I will lift the voices of Senate District 11 to fight for equality across Virginia.”
Executive Vice President of the Virginia NOW PAC, Pat Reuss expressed her support of Pohl.
“Virginia NOW PAC is excited to endorse Amanda Pohl for Senate District 11 and will be encouraging our members and supporters to vote for her in the upcoming June 11th Primary.”
The Pohl for Virginia Senate campaign has already received endorsements from EMILY’s list along with local leaders and activist organizations including Run for Something, Virginia’s List, the progressive blog Blue Virginia, Meg Gruber – the immediate past president of the Virginia Education Association, and Clarence M. Dunnaville Jr., a long-time civil rights activist and lawyer.
