A Richmond man will spend nearly four years in prison for his role in a shooting that left a 49-year-old woman dead last March.

Keon C. Anderson was sentenced in Richmond Circuit Court on Monday to three years and 10 months in the death of Kemberly Williams.

Williams was shot in the head on March 24 while she was watching basketball inside her house in the 1800 block of North 29th Street.

Friends say Williams was sitting near a window when she was shot.

Multiple people living in the area say that the shooting happened in the back alley behind the homes, but the bullets traveled and went through the room where Williams was sitting.
