Virginia State Police are investigating after a man says he was pulled over by a vehicle with blue lights, only to have his car stolen.

It happened Wednesday night on I-64 in York County. Police say they received several calls of a man waiving down traffic at mm 238. When a trooper arrived, they found the victim who said he had been carjacked.

The victim told police that he was pulled over by a “dark-colored Ford vehicle with blue lights mounted in the windshield.” Two men in plain clothes then ordered him out of the vehicle – one then got in and drove off. The victim was not injured in the carjacking.

The vehicle is a 2017 Chevy Impala with New Jersey tag P63HBP. If you see this vehicle, call (757) 424-6800.
