Thousands of fine people marched peacefully in Charlottesville tonight

Donald Trump recently said that there were “fine people” on both sides at the tragic day in Charlottesville. Essentially, everyone in public office rebuked that statement. This is one of the few times in recent memory that politicians on both side of the aisle have agreed on a subject. Politicians are carefully walking a tight rope of criticizing the Nazi’s and White Supremacists, while not directly condemning Trump’s comments.  This is the reasoning for the title of this article.

A peaceful walk was executed tonight by a very large crowd. The crowd consisted of UVA students & faculty, members of the local community, and fine people from across the state. They marched along the same path that the White Supremacists followed on Friday night. However, instead of tiki-torches, they were holding candles. Instead of trying to intimidate, they were inclusive while peacefully singing ‘Amazing Grace’. Check out videos and photos below.

There’s so much talk about the drug generation and songs about drugs. That’s stupid. They aren’t songs about drugs; they’re about life.
