Two People Have Been Arrested in Henrico Shooting

Two men have been arrested in connection with a Tuesday afternoon shooting in Henrico County.

A man shot near the 100 block of Scotch Pine Drive was taken to VCU Medical Center with life-threatening injuries about 1 p.m. Tuesday, according to police.

“The investigation revealed the victim was shot during a robbery and his vehicle was stolen,” police wrote in a statement Wednesday.

Kevanta Antonio Pettus, 19, and Mark Alan Workman, 28, were arrested.

Pettus was charged with carjacking, robbery, aggravated malicious wounding and three counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Workman was charged with two counts each of robbery and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.
