On Friday night, the owner of the Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, asked Trump’s top spokesperson  Sarah Huckabee Sanders to leave their restaurant.

According to the Washington Post, the owner believed — that Sarah Huckabee Sanders worked in the service of an “inhumane and unethical” administration. That she publicly defended the president’s cruelest policies, and that that could not stand.

The owner then said she spoke with her staff. “Tell me what you want me to do. I can ask her to leave,” Wilkinson, the owner told her staff. She said: “They said ‘yes.’ ”

President Trump tweeted on the issue on Monday morning:

Now the state GOP website is calling for a boycott of the Red Hen restaurant. The quote from below is at the top of a petition on their website.

“The liberal owner of the “Red Hen” restaurant in Lexington threw out Sarah Huckabee in the middle of dinner just because she works for President Trump! Once again the intolerant left has shown its true colors.

Sign the boycott petition below so we can show the Red Hen and it’s liberal supporters that patriotic Trump supporters are the silent majority in Virginia!”

Some comments on the post include a lot of hate towards Lexington and the Red Hen.

“We Gladly use the lefts tactics if necessary to combat This Terrorist DNCorganization” – Scott Fizer

“Boycott all of Lexington until this restaurant shuts down permanently. Write to their mayor. Shameful to treat a family like this. Lexington and The Red Hen won’t see a dollar from me.” – Leslie Henk

“The owner of the Red Hen is confused if she thinks refusing to serve people she disagrees with is acceptable behavior. Her childish action was rude and unacceptable. There are news reports today that the owner then organized some people who stood outside the restaurant Sanders went to next and continued to harassed her. She’s brought nationwide negative attention to a town I love.” – Nancy Messner

Some support of the restaurant also appear in the comments section.

“Every chance I get I intend to go to that restaurant to eat. GOP bigots endorse discrimination against gays, blacks and Jews so it is time you get some of your own.” – Myles

“Hear that sound?……You don’t ?that’s because no one gives a shit.” – Bigly Smart

If businesses can refuse people service because of their religious beliefs it would seem the Red Hen owner was perfectly within her rights. She certainly does not deserve abuse for exercising a right. I stand with her.
